Why Our Products?
Phytosanitary Certified Sea Moss
Our Sea Moss is documented and certified by the Saint Lucia Ministry of Agriculture with a phytosanitary certificate. Each batch is carefully inspected before being issued with certification.
This certificate proves that our Sea Moss has been inspected, is free from dangerous pests and diseases and is suitable to enter the UK.
Third Party Lab Tested Sea Moss
Our Sea Moss is sent to third-party laboratories in the UK for quality testing and analysis. We have official scientific lab results showing our Sea Moss has passed all third party lab testing for heavy metals, this certificate is readily available upon request.
Ethically Harvested + Sourced
Ethically sourced through small scale local Sea Moss farmers who form part of an association. This association protects the rights of the farmers and ensures fair practice policies take place. Our farmers work closely with the Saint Lucia government to ensure that harvesting is kept within a protective area and practices are not disturbing marine life and the natural environment.
The association has received a significant donation of farming equipment from the government to empower local farmers, improve farming practices, and meet industry standards, demonstrating the government’s commitment to the growth and sustainability of the Sea Moss industry.
100% Natural + Non-GMO
100% Natural and non-GMO, no use of chemicals, preservatives or anything nasty that simply shouldn't be there! We will only provide clean and fresh ingredients for you.
Naturally Sun-dried
Our Sea Moss is naturally dried in large wooden trays under the Saint Lucia sun. Harnessing the power of the sun is not only an environmentally-friendly method of preservation, but it also ensures that all nutritional values are retained. Any remaining sea salt also works as a natural preservative giving the Sea Moss a generous shelf life and naturally increasing its longevity.
Packaged with Love
Our products are packed with love, care and with special attention to detail. We make every effort to minimise our packaging and to use only the most sustainable materials available to us. Our dry products are packaged in recyclable and compostable brown pouches that are friendly to the environment. We also shred our own protective packaging using recycled brown paper and card sourced from our local community.
During the packing process, when it comes to measuring out our dried Sea Moss, we always like to pack slightly over the specified weight, this is to provide both our customers and ourselves, with the confidence and peace of mind that our products are never underweight.
Family Owned
Our little company has a big heart with a love of nature and all things natural. Based in the heart of Surrey, we own and operate this company as we cultivate our allotment, work on our home vegetable garden and spend time exploring everything that nature has to offer. Learning as we grow, we thank you for joining us on this exciting adventure.
